The breeze cuts across my skin, raising chills that feel less like a warning and more like an invitation. Warm sensations wave hello as the sun lowers itself behind the canyon walls, firing off its last golden warning shots into the sky—steadying my breath, slowing my heartbeat, releasing me from the city’s obligatory strangleholds.

Out here, I belong to the wide open.

A broad audience of stars soon takes its seats, shining down on the mountain laurel and cedar, waiting for the night to unfold. The Milky Way stretches overhead like a whispered promise. My love for this land runs slow and steady, like the river carving its path through the canyon—quietly hiding whatever future waits just beyond the foggy horizon of dew-drop mornings.

This candle captures that moment of escape, clarity, and calm.

It opens with the floral, subtly sweet lift of mountain laurel, drifting through the air like the first breath of freedom. The heart blends palo santo, clove, and cypress, warm and resinous, like the scent of earth, woodsmoke, and a night sky so open it humbles you. Anchoring the blend are sage and cedar, grounding, ancient, and steady—as dependable as the land itself.
