Lady Bird is rooted in the belief that beauty belongs to everyone. That it should line the roads, spill into forgotten corners, and greet you when you least expect it. In the spring of 1965, Lady Bird Johnson set her sights on Washington, D.C., turning small, awkward parcels of land into places meant for living, playing, and breathing easier. A year later, the city was in bloom. Proof that care, applied patiently, works.

This scent opens bright and green, with lemon and rosemary cutting through the air like early morning along a Texas highway. Red currant adds a flash of color. Then it softens. Jasmine drifts in, touched with honey and a hint of sea salt, floral but grounded, never precious. Underneath it all is warmth: agave, geranium, amber. Sun-warmed earth. The feeling of a place tended and loved.

When she returned home, her focus turned back to Texas. She championed native plants and wildflowers, encouraging communities to let the land speak for itself. Roadsides became galleries. Highways turned into seasonal celebrations. Beauty, practical and generous.

This candle is our tribute to Lady Bird Johnson and her quiet conviction that tending the landscape is an act of optimism.
