What do you get when you take a city-bred mother-daughter pair and move them out to the Texas Hill Country to live off rainwater and in a house the size of a shoebox? 

A candle company, apparently.

We are Stacey and Libby Manela: creative forces related by blood, home, and a shared love for the finer scents in life. When we moved from Houston to Utopia, Texas, everything changed. Our pulses slowed, our creativity flowed, and Texas showed us its serenity in a way we had never experienced before. And it smelled good.

As we grew closer to the land, we grew closer to its elements— mountain laurel, rain, fire, blood orange, the list goes on and on. Consider this our tribute to those elements, an ode to their divinity. To encapsulate the essence of the Hill Country in a candle is like capturing lightning in a bottle, but we give it our best shot.
