DEAR HILL COUNTRY
Dear Hill Country,
Thank you for letting us in, for we are sometimes unsure we have done right by you. We’ve built highways, telephone lines, structures that distract from the purity of what we have been given in you. In spite of those things, however, we strive to mitigate what we have done with a reverence for you— for your land, your offerings, and your radiance.
In our vessels, I hope you find solace in the familiar. We tried to recreate that which we have been given. Consider a sort of adoration, an appreciation for you, the Texas Hill Country, so that those who live here can experience you in hyperbole, and those who don’t know better can experience your grandeur.
We hope we have done you justice, that you feel exalted, not appropriated. Cherished, not commercialized. For what you have done for us, we can only hope to repay.
With love,
Canyon Candle Co.
